Biker Babe Buffy

Buffy made her connecting flight in Atlanta, but her luggage didn't. Here she is in the Biker Babe t-shirt I bought her in Daytona. Of course, cheap-ass sob that I am, the year on the t-shirt is 2007. I don't think you or she would have noticed, if I hadn't pointed it out.

A word to the wise (or about to become wise). Never, ever trust your luggage to the airlines. Travel light and carry on. After a number of experiences like Amy's back in the 80s, the airline baggage handlers have never seen my luggage. And, it appears from the statistics that have been published, the airlines are worse now than they were in the 80s.

Hope they come through with the luggage and deliver it to your boat so you can be on your way with a sail.

The Biker Babe looks happy despite her travails.

Indeed, I did know better, but my problem was sheer laziness. I didn't have the time this week to rebottle toiletries into 2oz bottles, and I hate lugging a bag through an airport for a connection. But as I was running from one side of the Atlanta terminal to the other (what felt like a few miles), I knew my bag was no way moving that fast too.

Luckily, we were planning to stick around here today to see my friends from Orlando, and they'll give me a ride back to the airport to get my bag.

Welcome aboard Amy!! The pics from the boatcam looks like you are in a very nice area!

So sorry about your luggage. What a pain! Hope the bag comes thru otherwise you will either ripen as much as Scott or you will have a good excuse to buy a few new things:)

Hope you and Scott were able to reach Fred and unlock those Tiger codes.

Nice pic - now we need one of Biker Babe and Mr. Glad. Hope you both have a great time.
